Do you even need one? EU/EEA and Swiss citizens, permanent residents, long-term EU residents, spouses of Polish citizens, Pole's Card holders, and graduates of Polish universities (for 30 months) generally don't need a permit. Not sure? That's what the free consultation is for.

Can I work while my application is being processed?+

Yes – if you applied for a Temporary residence card before your current status expired.

Who applies for a Type A work permit?+

The employer. This is the most common mistake that causes delays.

What's the minimum salary?+

4,666 PLN gross/month in 2026, While the EU Blue Card The minimum Salary is described as 150% of the average national wage from the previous year.

What if I change jobs?+

Notify the Foreign affairs about the loss of job.

When should I renew?+

In case of loss of job you have 1 month to apply for new temporary residence card , and 3 month for a blue card .
